Malaysian
Immigration Law requires all colleges/universities
to meet ALL foreign students at the
Immigration checkpoint at the airport;
otherwise students will not be allowed
to check out.
Once
we have received your arrival details,
our personnel will meet you at the
Immigration checkpoint and assist
you with the immigration clearance.
· Please do not
arrange to have your friends or relatives to
pick you at the airport. You can arrange to
meet them after we have settled your accommodation
arrangement.
2. Accommodation check-in
Our
personnel will bring you
to the hostel to settle you in your
accommodation arrangement. All international
students are encourage to stay at
the accommodation provided by ISBAUK
for at least one semester.
3. Endorsement of student pass
To
get your student pass College’s
Student) or visit Visa (Professional)
(For Academy Student) endorsed,
you are required to report to the International
Office at ISBAUK within 3 days of your
arrival with the following:
Passport
Paid
Your 1st Year Fees
Photocopy
of passport
Acceptance
Letter from ISBAUK
Endorsing
your student pass is extremely
important. Failure to do so
may result in a fine by the
Malaysian Immigration Department,
which you will have to bear.
Students
are not allowed to
study in Malaysia
with a social/visit/dependent
pass. Please ensure
that you have a valid
student pass at all
times during your
study at ISBAUK.
You
are not allowed
to work in Malaysia
during your course
of study.
Students
must bear the costs
of the student pass
and visit visa (professional).
4. ISBAUK Student ID
You will be
issued a Student ID when you have completed
payment of ISBAUK fees. Please do not lose
your Student ID as it allows you to access
the college and its facilities.
5. Banking matters
The
International Office will assist you in
changing currency and applying for
a bank account. You can only open
a bank account after your student
pass has been endorsed in your passport.
